| What makes life tick? |
|
Medical Engineering Association, endorsed by Save a Child's Heart Israel with the support of Politehnica University of Timisoara, DJST Timis (full list of partners) is organizing between March 1st and August 1st 2011 a number of important humanitarian activities, many of them for the first time in Romania. Romania is one of the countries that have benefited and continues to benefit from Save a Child’s Heart Foundation support. Since 2001, 25 children coming from poor families have benefited from heart surgery, which gave them hope and a second chance at life. Considering all the announced investments in the health system in Romania, international statistics place us on non leading positions regarding the quality and why not, the diversity of the medical services accessible to the population. Ever since its beginning, one of the main objectives of MEA was to promote valuable initiatives and to support a number of public awareness programs concerning various medical / social aspects.
